Position Details
- Job Title: Actuary & Senior Manager/AVP
- Function/Department: Actuarial

- Reports To: Actuary & CBSI Head Actuarial Life
- Role Overview: We are looking for a senior qualified actuary (or one paper short) with extensive experience in enhancing existing processes and financial reporting under US GAAP (LDTI) and IFRS17 standards. The ideal candidate will also possess expertise in maintaining and reviewing Prophet models, conducting experience studies to recommend best estimate assumptions, mentoring and coaching team members, and developing pricing models using Prophet.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver timely and accurate valuation results for US GAAP (LDTI) and IFRS17 reporting standards
Analyze monthly & quarterly reserves for multiple Asia Chubb Life entities.
Oversee the delivery of experience studies and conduct impact analyses of changes in key assumptions.
Maintain Prophet models for new product development and regular maintenance.
Assist in implementing internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting for US GAAP (LDTI) and IFRS17.
Ensure comprehensive documentation for each process and audit requirement, including data, models, assumptions, and analyses, to support high-quality financial results.
Establish and manage training and development programs for team members.
Foster a positive and engaged work environment through establishing constructive relations with various stakeholders and mentoring team members on regular basis. About Chubb

Skills and Qualifications
Qualified actuary with over 12 years of experience from a recognized actuarial institute.
- Proven experience in actuarial financial reporting with a focus on IFRS17 and USGAAP (LDTI) standards.
- Experience with IFRS17 transformation projects will be a big plus.
Pricing experience across various life insurance products.
Advanced proficiency in Prophet or similar actuarial software.
Strong data analytics skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Proven management expertise in building, leading, mentoring, and developing a professional team.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate constructive relationships with stakeholders at both regional and global levels.
Effective project management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with R, Python, or VBA is advantageous.
Proficient in the MS Office suite.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Statistics.
