Job Summary

The Micro Finance Sales & Collection Executive is responsible for sourcing microfinance customers, generating leads through field visits, and ensuring timely loan repayments. The role involves customer acquisition, relationship management, repayment follow-ups, and maintaining accurate documentation as per bank guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field visits to identify, source, and onboard microfinance customers.

  • Generate leads through community interactions, outreach programs, and referrals.

  • Explain micro-loan products, eligibility, and documentation requirements to customers.

  • Ensure timely loan repayment by conducting regular follow-ups and collection visits.

  • Manage overdue cases with professionalism and negotiate repayment plans as per policy.

  • Maintain customer data, KYC documents, and update collection status in the system.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to improve retention and repayment discipline.

  • Cross-sell bank products such as savings accounts, insurance, or recurring deposits where required.

  • Achieve monthly sales, disbursement, and collection targets.

Required Qualifications

  • Any Qualification – 10th,12th Pass / Diploma / Any Degree.

  • Preference for candidates with a two-wheeler and valid driving license.

  • Local area knowledge of Chennai and nearby locations is an added advantage.

Experience

  • 0 to 8 years of experience in Micro Finance, Field Sales, Loan Sales, or Collections.

  • Freshers with strong interest in field work may also apply.

Skills Required

  • Good communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong convincing ability and field sales aptitude.

  • Basic computer / mobile application handling skills.

  • Ability to work under target-based environment.

  • Customer-centric approach and problem-solving mindset.

Work Conditions

  • Location: Chennai (Field role).

  • Work Days: 6 days a week.

  • Timing: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (may vary by branch).

  • Benefits: Salary+ Incentives, PF, ESIC, Insurance as per bank policy.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹150, ₹350,000.00 per year
