About the Role

Throne Solutions is looking for a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring critical systems, detecting and resolving incidents, and ensuring network uptime and performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with monitoring tools, and a proactive approach to system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network and infrastructure performance using tools such as Nagios, PRTG, SolarWinds, or ManageEngine.
  • Detect, troubleshoot, and escalate incidents to appropriate teams within defined SLAs.
  • Perform first-level diagnosis and coordinate with L2/L3 teams for resolution.
  • Analyze system alerts, logs, and events from SNMP, syslog, and performance dashboards.
  • Document incident resolutions and update monitoring configurations as needed.
  • Generate uptime, performance, and incident reports for review.
  • Work in a 24x7 NOC environment, supporting critical business systems and services.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in network or infrastructure monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Nagios, PRTG, SolarWinds, ManageEngine, etc.).
  • Good understanding of network protocols, SNMP, and syslog analysis.
  • Familiarity with incident management processes and escalation workflows.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-team collaboration.

Certifications (Must Have at Least One):

  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
  • CompTIA Network+

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data center or enterprise NOC environments.
  • Basic understanding of routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
  • Exposure to automation tools or scripting (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
