As a Tools and Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and building solutions while coordinating with different engineering groups which can help automate Google processes across geographies.

Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities

  • Build/Design automation framework and the new automation solutions.
  • Execute automation opportunities to gain maximum business value and operational efficiency gain.
  • Build new Tools and Automation across your business areas considering a long term view.
  • Responsible for leading and helping businesses improve the efficiency of processes by specializing in leading automation opportunities.
  • Own and track the automation initiatives till closure while creating visibility of the business gain.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • 4-6 years of overall technology experience, with a focus on full-stack development and end-to-end application design, deployment, and maintenance.
  • 2+ years of experience in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar, with proficiency in frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, ) and backend technologies (e.g., , Java, Python).
  • Strong experience with databases (SQL), including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and process improvement frameworks like Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into effective technical solutions

  • Experience in building tools and automating processes using Google stack/products
  • Knowledge of Databases, Rest API, integration, networking, cloud
  • Exposure to environment management and leading production support activities
