About the Role

We are looking for a skilled
Test Automation Specialist
with hands-on experience in
Selenium WebDriver, Java, and SQL
to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, work closely with the development team, and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using
    Selenium WebDriver
    and
    Java
    .
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using
    Automation frameworks
    .
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and Feature files using
    BDD
    .
  • Execute automated test suites, analyse results, and report defects using tools like
    ADO
    or similar.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks (BDD).
  • Write and execute
    SQL queries
    to validate backend data and ensure data integrity.
  • Provide detailed defect reports and support debugging activities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Min 6-8 years
    of experience in software testing with strong automation skills.
  • Min 5 years' experience with Java & Selenium.
  • Proficient in
    Selenium WebDriver
    with
    Java
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    BDD
    frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with
    SQL
    for database validation.
  • Experience on
    Maven
    for build management.
  • Familiarity with
    Git
    or other version control systems.
  • Good understanding of
    SDLC
    and
    STLC
    .

Good to Have

  • Experience with
    API testing
    using Postman or Rest Assured.
  • Knowledge of any CI/CD tools.
  • Experience on Banking domain.
  • In-sprint automation.
