Associate Automation Architect

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute
    automation scripts
    for
    Web or Mobile applications
    using industry-standard tools.
  • Create and maintain
    manual test cases
    ensuring adequate
    test coverage
    across functional requirements.
  • Participate in planning and executing
    functional, regression, and integration testing
    cycles.
  • Work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality across the delivery pipeline.
  • Perform
    API testing
    and collaborate with teams to validate backend integrations;
    API automation
    experience is a plus.
  • Contribute to
    test strategy and best practices
    , aligning with project and business goals.
  • Participate in
    CI/CD integration
    activities and support continuous testing initiatives.
  • Identify, document, and track defects to closure while maintaining traceability and transparency.
  • Support test reporting, metrics, and dashboards to track coverage, efficiency, and quality trends.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, tools, and frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 years
    of experience, with strong focus on
    test automation
    .
  • Hands-on experience in
    Web automation (Selenium - must, Playwright, Cypress – good to have)
    or
    Mobile automation (Appium, Espresso, etc.)
    expertise in either area is required.
  • Strong understanding of
    API testing
    (using Postman, Swagger, etc.);
    API automation
    experience is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of
    test design techniques
    ,
    test coverage
    , and
    defect life cycle management
    .
  • Experience working in
    Agile environments
    and integrating testing in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with version control systems like
    Git
    .
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
