Job Description:

Responsible for monitoring network systems, responding to deployed application incidents, performing troubleshooting and diagnostics of applications to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network devices (Linux Servers, Database, On-prem devices), and deployed applications using monitoring tools
  • Respond to on-prem network and application alerts and tickets on time
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics of application alerts from the initial to the advanced level
  • Document deployed applications, incidents, and actions taken in the ticketing system
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or team leads
  • Monitor and maintain network Application infrastructure and services
  • Conduct root cause analysis for incidents
  • Follow standard operating procedures and runbooks
  • Create and update technical documentation and runbooks
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on problem resolution
  • Maintain awareness of ongoing incidents and network status
  • Participate in 24/7 shift rotation and on-call support

Required Qualifications Education

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Technical Skills :

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/S
  • Proficiency in application monitoring and ticketing systems
  • Proficiency with Linux operating systems
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) preferred

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work under pressure during incidents
  • Team collaboration and coordination
  • Attention to detail and documentation

Work Enviornment:

  • 24/7/365 operations requiring shift work
  • On-call rotation for after-hours support
  • Hybrid or on-site presence may be required
  • Fast-paced, incident-driven environment
