Job Description:
Responsible for monitoring network systems, responding to deployed application incidents, performing troubleshooting and diagnostics of applications to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network devices (Linux Servers, Database, On-prem devices), and deployed applications using monitoring tools
- Respond to on-prem network and application alerts and tickets on time
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics of application alerts from the initial to the advanced level
- Document deployed applications, incidents, and actions taken in the ticketing system
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or team leads
- Monitor and maintain network Application infrastructure and services
- Conduct root cause analysis for incidents
- Follow standard operating procedures and runbooks
- Create and update technical documentation and runbooks
- Collaborate with engineering teams on problem resolution
- Maintain awareness of ongoing incidents and network status
- Participate in 24/7 shift rotation and on-call support
Required Qualifications Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Technical Skills :
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/S
- Proficiency in application monitoring and ticketing systems
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) preferred
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work under pressure during incidents
- Team collaboration and coordination
- Attention to detail and documentation
Work Enviornment:
- 24/7/365 operations requiring shift work
- On-call rotation for after-hours support
- Hybrid or on-site presence may be required
- Fast-paced, incident-driven environment
