Role & responsibilities

  • Build a relationship with the distributors through regular interaction & personally know the regional managers, cluster heads, key branch managers, RMs & staff.
  • Regularly meet with counterparts from the bank to discuss performance issues, sales improvements, and to ensure that the two business streams are fully integrated and compatible and that the sales force is trusted, respected and valued by branch colleagues.
  • Support & motivate through regular meetings on product updates, contest communication & dissemination
  • Host events for distributors to develop long term relationship and support the development of new projects with the distributor branches
  • Drive agreed initiatives of corporate office at all levels of distributor through the direct reporting team
  • Discuss joint local level initiatives & support to help bank achieve the fee income targets
  • Sales:
  • Support Relationship Managers (RMs) in their work by one on one coaching in technical/ product knowledge & selling skills. Provide a role model to RMs by demonstrating such knowledge & skills.
  • Build & maintain team motivation by providing support, recognizing good performances, arranging periodic team-building activities etc.
  • Personally sell to selected HNI contacts as & when the opportunity presents itself.
