Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Offset Printing Operator to join our Full-Time team in Navi Mumbai. This role involves operating offset press machinery to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in maintaining press equipment and adhering to workflow processes to ensure efficient production. This role is pivotal to ensuring that our printed educational materials meet the standards expected by our clients.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Offset Press Operation (Mandatory skill): Proficient in operating offset press equipment to produce printed materials effectively and accurately.
  • Maintenance of Press Equipment (Mandatory skill): Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure machinery operates smoothly.
  • Print Production Workflow (Mandatory skill): Understanding of the end-to-end workflow to maximize efficiency and meet production deadlines.
  • Color Management: Skilled in managing color consistency and quality to meet client expectations and requirements.
  • Printing Plate Calibration: Experienced in calibrating printing plates to maintain accuracy and alignment during printing processes.
  • Quality Control Processes: Knowledge of inspecting printed materials to ensure they comply with quality standards and specifications.
  • Digital Print Technologies: Familiarity with digital printing technologies and their integration into traditional printing workflows.
  • Safety Protocols in Printing: Understanding of safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Operate and oversee offset printing equipment to produce printed products according to job specifications and deadlines.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on presses to ensure they are in optimal working condition and address any technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the production team to coordinate workflow and maintain seamless production operations.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure all outputs meet the desired quality standards and client expectations.
  • Utilize color management techniques to ensure color fidelity in all printed materials.
  • Participate in safety training sessions and adhere to all safety protocols while operating machinery.
  • Assist in the calibration of printing plates ensuring alignment and precision during the print process.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in printing technologies and suggest improvements for process optimizations.
