Role Overview
The VP – Direct Sales will lead and scale the end-to-end
direct sales function
for Venus Group's residential and commercial real estate portfolio. The position demands strong field presence, hands-on leadership, and proven expertise in high-volume and high-value direct customer conversions. While direct sales is the core mandate, the role also requires broad exposure to channel partner management, sales operations, CRM, and strategic sales planning to ensure holistic performance.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Sales Leadership (Primary Focus)
- Lead the complete
direct-to-customer sales
operations for all active and upcoming projects. - Drive daily/weekly sales performance, site visits, lead conversions, and customer engagement activities.
- Strengthen sales team capability, on-ground productivity, client handling skills, and deal closures.
- Ensure robust follow-ups, negotiation excellence, and achievement of monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Formulate sales plans, pricing recommendations, and inventory movement strategies for residential and commercial projects.
- Collaborate with leadership on launch planning, sales projections, market positioning, and project-specific Go-To-Market initiatives.
- Provide actionable insights on customer demand, competitive developments, and pricing trends.
Team Management & Capability Building
- Lead and mentor a high-performance direct sales team, ensuring productivity discipline and customer-first conduct.
- Drive training on customer engagement, objection handling, product positioning, and negotiation.
- Build a results-driven culture with strong emphasis on accountability and performance metrics.
Customer Experience & Relationship Management
- Oversee customer interactions from inquiry to closure, ensuring a premium experience aligned with Venus Group standards.
- Identify improvement opportunities in site visit experience, sales collateral, and customer communication.
- Drive initiatives to elevate customer satisfaction and strengthen brand trust.
Cross-Domain Exposure
- Support the channel sales team in partner onboarding, relationship management, and performance monitoring.
- Work with CRM to ensure seamless post-booking customer experience, documentation, and collections alignment.
- Collaborate with Marketing for lead generation strategy, digital campaigns, and brand positioning.
- Coordinate with Projects, Finance, and Legal for customer commitments, inventory management, and project updates.
