About the Role

Join Fossil Group India to power our Marketplace Sales Operations and deliver excellence across top e-commerce platforms. You will manage marketplace processes end-to-end — from product listings to sales analysis — while driving operational efficiency and ensuring top-notch customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Operations: Manage product listings, pricing accuracy, attributes, and imagery across marketplaces.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track sales, conversions, promotions, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Inventory & Forecasting: Oversee order & inventory tracking, demand forecasting, and fill rate monitoring.
  • Payment Reconciliation: Ensure timely payment settlements; raise disputes for discrepancies.
  • Marketplace Compliance: Monitor for fake products, price breaches, and content/SEO optimization opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with planners, content ops, commercial managers, marketing teams, and external vendors.
  • Reporting: Develop dashboards & performance reports using Excel/Google Sheets, Looker Studio, or Tableau.

Required Experience & Competencies:

  • 2–4 years in Sales Operations / E-commerce Operations / Commercial Operations (preferably with brands).
  • Strong knowledge of digital commercial levers – pricing, promotions, campaign planning.
  • Proficiency in order & inventory tracking, sales forecasting, fill rate monitoring.
  • Hands-on with marketplace backend tools, D2C commerce systems, digital promotions, and sales dashboards.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across internal & external teams.
  • Certification in Advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Courses on E-commerce / Digital Retail / Sales Analytics (Coursera, Udemy, LinkedIn Learning) – preferred.
  • Japanese Language expertise – JLPT N3 or N2 required.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Operations, or related field.
  • MBA / Postgraduate Diploma in Operations, Marketing, or Retail Management – preferred.

Tools & Skills:

  • Google Suite, MS Excel, Looker Studio, Tableau
  • Marketplace Platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.)
  • Payment reconciliation, campaign analytics, SEO optimization
