Role Summary

Own end-to-end order dispatch for website & marketplacespick/pack/label/manifest/handover, courier coordination, NDR/RTO control, and daily MIS. Maintain FEFO, hygiene and FSSAI batch/lot traceability so every shipment goes out same-day and damage-free.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull orders from Shopify/marketplaces; create pick lists by SLA priority (prepaid/COD/express).
  • QC pick pack: check SKUs, weights, seals, branding sleeves, inserts; ensure FEFO for perishables.
  • Print shipping labels & invoices (thermal), prepare manifests; schedule pickups; ensure on-time handover scans.
  • Use Shiprocket/Delhivery/Ekart/Xpressbees/Bluedart panels; resolve weight disputes/chargebacks.
  • Track NDR (non-delivery reports), call customers for address/phone issues; re-attempt or convert to prepaid.
  • Reduce RTO with proactive follow-ups; log reasons; raise claims for lost/damaged shipments.
  • Maintain dispatch dashboard & daily MIS: orders out, exceptions, courier TAT, shipping cost/order.
  • Inventory hygiene: GRN, binning, cycle counts, batch/lot updates; alert low stock & packaging material needs.
  • Generate E-way bills (when applicable), basic GST document coordination with accounts.
  • Keep SOPs, hygiene & pest-control logs updated; follow safety & 5S.
  • Support bulk/corporate dispatches: slot bookings, city-wise splits, branded sleeves/notes.

Must-Have Skills

  • Hands-on with Shopify + Shiprocket (or similar), courier portals, Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Thermal printer, barcode scanner usage; basic volumetric weight math.
  • Strong follow-through, calm under festive pressure; clear phone etiquette for NDR calls.
  • Physically fit to lift cartons (up to ~15–20 kg safely); disciplined with checklists.

Good-to-Have

  • Zoho Inventory/Tally basics, Power Query/VLOOKUP, basic RTO analytics.
  • Experience in food/FMCG fulfilment (FEFO, batch coding, shelf-life labeling).

  • Pick-pack accuracy 99.5%
  • NDR closure 24 hrs; RTO rate trending (target: 12% website; 20% COD)
  • On-time handover scans 95%
  • Packaging defects 0.5%; Weight disputes recovered 80%
