Job Description: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager / Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and successfully closing sales. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, qualify, and target potential clients and new business opportunities within the designated market segment or territory.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and discovery to proposal presentation, negotiation, and contract closing.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients, acting as a trusted consultant.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to better position our products/services.
  • Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Reporting & CRM: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, activity, and forecast information in the company's CRM system.
  • Product Knowledge: Become a subject matter expert on our products/services and clearly articulate their value proposition to potential clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Proven work experience of 2+ years as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or relevant role.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals, particularly in a B2B (Business-to-Business) or B2C (Business-to-Consumer) environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-Motivation: Highly driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in using Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
