Job Purpose

Assist in timely procurement and delivery of inventory in a hospital/healthcare setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate purchase orders and follow up till delivery and closure.
  • Liaise effectively with physicians, employees, vendors, and agencies.
  • Conduct financial analysis, data interpretation, and presentations.
  • Present actual expenditure analysis against budgets.
  • Ensure marginal costing and track product costs.
  • Perform business analysis for criticalities.
  • Supervise monthly balance sheet and P&L A/c preparation for MIS.
  • Provide all MIS/analysis for CA/RD, support budgeting with value proposition.
  • Enhance team capability via skill development.
  • Ensure timely and accurate MIS and support value-oriented budgeting.
  • Adhere to company policies, be punctual, and well-groomed.
  • Understand QMS/EMS and Disaster Management Programme.
  • Observe hospitals service quality, environmental and safety processes.
  • Ensure patient safety and proper equipment utilization and waste disposal.

Key Performance Indicators

  • No stock outs
  • Zero errors in accounts and records maintenance
  • Maintains minimum inventory with maximum efficiency
  • Compliance with NABH & IMS standards
  • Submission of bills to accounts within 4 working days

Job Requirements

Qualification: Graduate / D.Pharma / B.Pharma / PG Diploma in Materials Management

Experience: 26 years in healthcare/hospital procurement
