Your role

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of P&S: Facilitate trade matching with various industry clearinghouses and contra parties across Equity, UIT and Fixed Income (Corporate, Municipal Bond, etc.) products

Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Effectively lead a team of professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development

Act as first point of contact for local and onshore escalations

Collaborate with internal (front and middle office) and external stakeholders to ensure timely trade matching and settlement

Maintain a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence by developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the workflow

Monitor market trends and developments to anticipate and respond to changes

UBS Financial Services Inc. is a leading firm in the financial services industry, dedicated to providing exceptional wealth management service and innovative solutions to our clients. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to oversee and manage the Purchase & Sales department. P&S services the Global Wealth Management business in the United States, which includes Financial Advisors, Client Service Representatives, and our Global Markets Trading business partners, facilitating trade matching with various industry clearinghouses and contra parties across Equity, UIT and Fixed Income (Corporate, Municipal Bond, etc.) products.

Your expertise

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Clearance or related function

Strong knowledge of financial markets and trade lifecycles

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Familiarity with data visualization tools to present complex financial data clearly and concisely

Proficiency in querying and manipulating data for analysis

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
