You will own regional revenue targets, tender pipeline, on-time supplies, and collections while building deep relationships with hospital procurement, OEMs/suppliers, and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesInstitutional coverage and business developmentRegularly visit hospitals/institutions to maintain a strong customer–supplier channel.Navigate institutional procurement procedures and rigorously follow up on active opportunities across departments.Track upcoming tenders; keep the back-office informed and work to accelerate order booking and revenue recognition.Technical and clinical enablementProvide basic technical support to customers purchasing OEM/manufacturer products.Facilitate meetings between hospital decision-makers and client/OEM leadership or technical experts.Persuasively position clinical/technical benefits and competitive advantages to drive adoption.Fulfillment, post-sales, and collectionsAddress transaction and implementation issues by coordinating with OEMs; escalate appropriately to resolve quickly.Ensure timely supplies with minimal penalties (target LD charges under 5% annually).Follow up to realize payments within 60 days of supply, with up to 10% permissible deviation.Reporting and collaborationMaintain accurate funnel/forecast, tender trackers, competition intel, and weekly MIS.Collaborate with back-office, logistics, finance, and leadership to ensure smooth execution.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Revenue Generation: Achieve assigned annual sales value for the region and supplier portfolio.Efficiency of Supplies: LD charges < 5% annually.Revenue Realization: Payments realized within 60 days of supply (≤ 10% deviation).Skills and QualificationsMust-have: Experience in government institutional sales (tenders, procurement workflows, hospital ecosystem).Beneficial: Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare devices/solutions.Strong communication in English and local language; excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.Strategic, data-driven, and hands-on execution; disciplined follow-ups and process adherence.Education and CredentialsBachelor's degree in Bio-Sciences or related fields: Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Radiography, Microbiology, Nursing, Chemistry, Zoology, or equivalent.MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.All relevant professional certifications must be current and maintained.Travel and Work ModeFrequent regional travel across hospitals/institutions and OEM/supplier meetings.Base: Kolkata + MumbaiWhat We OfferPerformance-linked incentives and growth into larger portfolios.Opportunity to shape tender strategy, key account plans, and territory GTM.Collaborative environment with strong OEM/supplier partnerships.How to ApplyEmail your CV toand to infowith the subject: "Pharma – Mumbai" or apply via LinkedIn.
