Role Purpose:

This position is responsible to manage end-to-end operations of the Pune site from Manufacturing, Finished Goods creation and delivery to customers. This position is designated as the Factory Manager and expected to develop a sound operations strategy for the site, define and execute the site objectives. The key areas of responsibility include Safety & Sustainability, Statutory & Legal compliance, Manufacturing, Quality, Customer Delivery, Cost efficiency and high level of engagement of team, comprising of salaried and hourly employees.

Key Accountability:

End-to-End Operations
: Oversee all aspects of site operations from Manufacturing and Finished goods (FG) creation, Quality, Maintenance, Capex Project execution, ensuring alignment with overall supply chain objectives.

Site Management
: Act as the factory manager for the Pune (PU) site, ensuring compliance with corporate, legal, and statutory requirements, while coordinating with HR, Finance, and IT departments.

Continuous Improvement
: Lead continuous improvement initiatives for improving Safety & Sustainability performance through ISO 9000 and Group Safety standards, Quality (PPM), manufacturing efficiency and cost savings through Lean.

Customer Satisfaction
: Ensure timely production and delivery to meet customer demands, adhering to KPIs like OTIF (On-Time In-Full) and addressing customer complaints promptly. Analyse internal / external rejections (CCARs) thoroughly by using 8D methodology and prevent repeat incidents.

Capacity Planning
: Analyze capacity against current and future demand. Develop a capacity roadmap and ensure timely execution of capex projects to create extra capacity as required.

Team Leadership
: Develop a high-performance culture, ensure effective teamwork, and motivate staff to excel. Foster a culture of excellence and team engagement through employee engagement initiatives.

Report to (position title): Operations Director - India and ASEAN

Specific Experience / Qualifications required:

·      Mandatory: B.E. / B.Tech. – Mechanical or Chemical.

Desirable: MBA - Supply chain / Operation

· to 15 years of experience in a process industry out of which at least three years should be in a leadership position.
