Role Overview:

We are looking for a Plant Manager who will take end-to-end responsibility of the manufacturing operations. This includes planning, execution, manpower management, quality, productivity, and safety standards. The right candidate will be the key operational leader ensuring smooth setup and scale-up of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the complete setup of the new conversion facility in coordination with Chinese technical experts.
  • Oversee production processes: adhesive application, foam lamination, die cutting, and quality control.
  • Build and manage the local workforce; ensure training, discipline, and productivity.
  • Implement best practices in process efficiency, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate with management on production planning, raw material inventory, and order fulfillment.
  • Drive cost optimization and process improvement.
  • Ensure scale-up from USD 100,000/month revenues to 510x growth over 3 years.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering preferred) or equivalent.
  • Experience: 815 years in plant operations / manufacturing / precision conversion / die cutting / laminates / adhesive processes.
  • Proven ability to set up and manage new plants or production lines.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to working with international technology partners will be an advantage.

Performance Bonus / Variable Pay: 1020% of fixed (25 lakhs) linked to production, quality & cost KPIs
