About the Role
We are looking for a
Lifecycle Marketing Manager
who will own user communication across CleverTap and other marketing channels. This role is a mix of
creative messaging
and
data-driven execution
— you will be responsible for building automated journeys, planning targeted campaigns, and driving user engagement, retention, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Planning & Execution:
Design and execute lifecycle campaigns across push, email, in-app, and SMS using CleverTap. - Journey Creation:
Build automated user journeys for onboarding, engagement, churn prevention, and reactivation. - Segmentation & Personalization:
Identify key user segments, behaviors, and triggers to deliver personalized communication. - Creative Messaging:
Craft engaging, conversion-focused copy that resonates with users. - Experimentation & Optimization:
Run A/B tests on messaging, creatives, and user flows to improve performance. - Data-Driven Insights:
Track, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness (CTR, conversion, retention). - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product, growth, and design teams to ensure consistent communication.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in
lifecycle/CRM/retention marketing
. - Hands-on experience with
CleverTap
(or similar tools like MoEngage, Braze, WebEngage). - Strong understanding of
user segmentation, funnels, and retention strategies
. - Excellent communication & copywriting skills with a creative mindset.
- Analytical ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns.
- Experience with
A/B testing
and campaign performance tracking.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in
edtech / consumer internet products
. - Familiarity with
growth frameworks
(activation, engagement, retention, referral). - Comfort with
basic HTML/CSS
for email templates.
