Role & responsibilities : Extend environmental support to sites as needed to maintain compliance and performance standards.

  • Responsible for Environmental functions across global sites
  • Knowledge of ZLD operations & Functions. Ensure effective operations of ZLD/ETP across sites
  • Responsible for application of Environmental laws and ensure Environmental compliance at sites.
  • Plan, coordinate & facilitate the statutory approvals regarding Environment & Forest.
  • Oversee water and wastewater management systems at the sites across globe , ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local and International environmental regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement the environmental safeguard as envisaged in EIA / EMP / Recommendations by

statutory authorities.

  • Develop relation/Liaison with TSPCB/CPCB/ MoEF and other regulatory authorities.
  • Drive environmental governance processes to monitor site performance and ensure regulatory

compliance.

  • Support sustainability programs by implementing site specific energy efficiency and GHG reduction

initiatives.

  • Lead the sites water stewardship program in collaboration with central EHS team, for conducting audits

and implementing water conservation micro projects.

  • Drive effective waste management practices for both hazardous and non hazardous materials.
  • Act as the point of contact for regulatory bodies and ensure inspection readiness

Preferred candidate profile :15+ years of experience in Environment al operations and technology selection and compliance , resolving

technical operational issues related to Environment, out of which exposure on equipment selection and consultancy on Environmental matters is desired

  • Functional experience in ZLD/ETP operations
  • Environmental laws and ensure Environmental compliance
  • Licensing ,Environmental Management. Managing cross functional teams, Knowledge on technologies implementation on Waste management and digitization.
  • Good communication skills and working with cross functional teams is desired.
