Job Description – Finance Executive

Qualification:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years in Accounts Receivable, preferably in FMCG or distribution-driven industries.

Skills Required:

  • Credit control, MS Excel, SAP, AR management, communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Receivable Management

  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up for timely payments.
  • Prepare ageing reports and highlight overdue cases with action plans.
  • Track daily collections and update customer accounts accurately.

2. Accounting & Documentation

  • Daily updation of customer collection clearing entries.
  • Maintain customer KYC and credit-related documents.

3. Customer Reconciliation & Dispute Management

  • Perform monthly account reconciliations.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, debit notes, and claims.
  • Coordinate with Sales & Logistics for daily billing plan confirmation.
  • Manage customer onboarding and exit as per company policy.

4. Credit Control

  • Conduct credit assessments for new and existing customers.
  • Monitor credit limits and propose necessary adjustments.

5. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly AR reports and ageing analyses.
  • Provide insights on collection trends and overdue risks.
  • Support internal and statutory audits.
