About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the Accounts team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimizing financial processes, and contributing to strategic decision-making for business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, banking, and payroll.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax filings, and audit requirements.
  • Monitor, review, and manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor the Accounts/Finance team to ensure smooth operations and timely execution of tasks.
  • Implement best practices, financial controls, and process improvements to enhance team productivity and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective financial governance.

Strategic Planning & Advisory

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business strategy and decision-making.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure healthy financial functioning.

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, internal policies, and external audit guidelines.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and financial institutions when required.
  • Implement strong internal controls to prevent errors, fraud, and financial discrepancies.

Required Qualifications

  • B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) is mandatory.
  • Post-graduation (MBA Finance / M.Com) is optional but preferred.

Experience

  • 10 – 12 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Proven experience managing financial teams and leading financial operations.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software, MS Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity.
