Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Manager Master Data Management to lead our store data, rental, and agreement management processes within the Finance function.

This role requires a sharp analytical mind, deep operational expertise, and a hands-on approach to drive accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all finance master data systems and related workflows.

You will play a critical role in building scalable data management frameworks to support Chai Points expansion, while leading cross-functional coordination between business, operations, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Own and manage all processes related to store master data, rental, CAM, utilities, and agreement masters.
  2. Oversee new store openings and closures, ensuring all financial documentation, reconciliations, and settlements are completed accurately and on time.
  3. Maintain and update the agreement master database with tracking of validity, renewals, and compliance.
  4. Coordinate with landlords and internal stakeholders to ensure timely payouts, issue resolution, and strong relationship management.
  5. Ensure cash reconciliation and FNF processes are executed rigorously across stores.
  6. Lead the standardization and automation of master data management processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  7. Partner with Finance leadership to develop frameworks, controls, and reports that support strategic decision-making.
  8. Continuously review, audit, and improve processes to align with organizational growth and compliance standards.

Main Purpose of the Job

To ensure end-to-end ownership and governance of all store-level master data and associated financial processes — enabling Chai Point's growth through robust data accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

Skill Requirements

Educational Qualification:

  • B.Com / MBA / Semi-qualified CA

Essential Experience:

  1. Solid understanding of financial workflows, approval hierarchies, and compliance processes.
  2. Proven track record in managing large data volumes and multiple parallel requests within strict timelines.
  3. Expertise in stakeholder management across business, landlords, and leadership levels.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and data management tools.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with meticulous attention to detail.

  1. Strategic thinker with a process-driven approach.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
  4. High ownership and accountability for deliverables.

Experience Required:

6–8 years of relevant experience in financial data management, lease administration, or related domains.
