Role & responsibilities

  • Liaise with hiring managers (in production, maintenance, engineering, quality, safety, HR, admin etc.) to understand hiring needs: role profile, skills, shift timings, volumes, certifications required.
  • Maintain a recruitment plan / forecast aligned with upcoming projects or production demands.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for both blue-collar and white-collar roles:

    • Blue-collar: trade schools, local labour pools, contractor networks, walk-ins, site level hiring fairs.

    • White-collar: online job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, headhunters for specialised roles.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 3-5 years of recruitment experience, ideally with experience hiring both blue-collar and white-collar workforce.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing / industrial settings (if applicable) including trade roles, safety norms, technical skill requirements.
  • Excellent sourcing skills (job boards, social media, referrals, etc.)
  • Good assessment skills: ability to judge skills / fit (for both manual / trade roles and professional roles).
  • Strong communication skills in local language(s) and English.
  • Negotiation skills (offers, joining, compensation)
  • Good organizational skills; ability to handle multiple hiring processes in parallel.
  • Data-driven mindset; comfortable tracking metrics and using them to improve performance.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) / HR tools.
  • Travel flexibility (site visits, walk-in hiring centres, etc.) especially for blue-collar hiring.
