Role Description
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Tender Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end tendering process for various government, defense, industrial, and private sector projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing tenders, preparing proposals, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely and accurate submission in alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and interpret tender documents (Govt/MES/Defense/Private sector).
• Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, including compliance checklists.
• Coordinate with design, estimation, procurement, and legal teams for bid preparation.
• Prepare and submit all necessary documentation (BOQ, SLDs, designs, certifications).
• Ensure all submissions are compliant with tender specifications, industry standards, and regulations.
• Track live tenders, tender portals, and evaluate upcoming bidding opportunities.
• Prepare cost estimation sheets and obtain supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Conduct site visits (if required) for technical feasibility and project scoping.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and government bodies for pre- and post-tender clarifications.
• Maintain documentation and records of all tenders and submissions for audit/compliance.
• Ensure timely submissions and follow-ups on tender status and LOA issuance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical / Renewable Energy / Equivalent
• Experience: 4–8 years of proven experience in tendering, preferably in EPC, Solar, or Infrastructure sectors.
• Tender Knowledge: Strong knowledge of MES/Defence/Govt procurement processes and documentation.
• Software: Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD, and tender portals like GeM, eProcurement, CPPP, etc.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills in English and regional languages (Tamil preferred).
• Travel: Willing to travel across India for site visits and meetings as required.
• Others: Detail-oriented, strong analytical mindset, ability to meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Candidate:
• Prior experience with MES/Defense/Govt tenders
• Strong technical background with knowledge of BOQ, SLD, costing, and drawings
• Fluent in Tamil, English, and Hindi
• Immediate joiners preferred
