About the Job:-

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Associate specializing in mining and construction equipment to lead our field sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, a deep understanding of the mining and construction industries, and a proven track record of driving sales growth. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to effectively manage a team and close deals with clients.

Responsibilities:-

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives for mining andconstruction equipment sales.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of field sales representatives to meet and exceed salestargets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients in themining and construction industries.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies withmarket needs and product offerings.
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, including negotiation ofcontracts and terms.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas forimprovement and innovation.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate individual and team performanceand make data-driven decisions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promoteproducts and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapportand establish trust with clients/customers.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mind-set.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
