Role Overview:

The Head of eCommerce Media Operations will lead the eCommerce team in Hyderabad. He will be responsible for global excellence in eCommerce media execution, driving measurable business performance across all retail media channels and markets. This role oversees a global team of approximately 18 specialists and regional leads across North America, Europe, LATAM, and Asia, including DSP operations. It requires a leader with deep operational expertise in Amazon Ads and retail media, who combines strategic understanding with hands-on mastery to translate plans into impact.

This leader will be accountable for performance delivery, operational efficiency, and organizational capability. Acting as the executional counterpart to the Global Media Strategy Lead, the role will ensure strategy becomes action—delivered with precision, speed, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Business Impact: Own the global performance of eCommerce media campaigns across Amazon, DSP, and Omnichannel platforms. Translate media investment into measurable business growth, ROI improvement, and category expansion.

Global Performance Management: Establish and lead a unified performance framework across regions. Track outcomes rigorously, identify drivers of success, and ensure proactive optimization to exceed KPIs.

Operational Leadership: Shape the global media operations organization for maximum efficiency, scalability, and agility. Implement consistent processes, governance models, and performance standards to deliver operational excellence.

Leadership and Team Development: Lead and mentor a global team of regional leads and specialists (approximately 18 people). Build operational expertise, instill accountability, and create a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Collaboration with Strategy and Stakeholders: Partner closely with the Global Media Strategy Lead, regional and market stakeholders, and key technology partners such as SKAI to drive the global media operations roadmap. Ensure flawless alignment between strategic priorities, operational execution, and platform innovation.

Reporting and Insights: Oversee global reporting frameworks and dashboards. Deliver actionable insights that connect media performance to commercial outcomes, empowering informed decision-making at global and regional levels.

Amazon and Omnichannel Retail Media Excellence: Leverage advanced knowledge of Amazon Ads, retail media networks, and platform capabilities to guide optimization, troubleshoot operational challenges, and elevate execution standards.

Efficiency and Innovation: Identify automation and process improvement opportunities that unlock scalability and reduce operational friction. Champion tools, technology, and ways of working that enhance precision and impact.

Accountability and Ownership: Ensure all markets operate with discipline, accuracy, and measurable impact. Maintain end-to-end accountability for performance delivery and operational results.

Qualifications:

• Deep expertise in eCommerce media, with advanced understanding of Amazon Ads and retail media platforms.

• Proven experience leading large global or multi-market operational teams.

• Strong commercial mindset and ability to translate executional excellence into business growth.

• Skilled in performance analytics, reporting, and media optimization.

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with proven success working with global strategy teams and external partners.

• Experience with DSPs, programmatic media, or Omnichannel campaigns is an advantage.

Experience:

• Experience in digital or performance media within eCommerce or retail media environments (Amazon Ads mandatory).

• Demonstrated success building and scaling operational teams globally.

• Proven track record of delivering performance-driven campaigns with measurable business outcomes.
