Company Description

The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation headquartered in Bengaluru, India, running the Mid-Day Meal Programme in over 24,000 government and government-aided schools across 16 States and 2 Union Territories, serving 2.1 million children each school day. The foundation has served over 3.5 billion meals since its inception in 2000. Akshaya Patra proactively responds to crises such as floods, cyclones, earthquakes, and the COVID-19 pandemic, through efforts like cooked meals, grocery kits, and incentivised vaccination drives in marginalised communities.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Executive located in Varanasi. The Human Resources Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day HR management, HR operations, managing employee relations, and implementing HR policies. The role involves ensuring compliance with human resources regulations, addressing employee grievances, and supporting the ongoing development and implementation of HR initiatives.

Qualifications

  • HR Management and Human Resources (HR) skills
  • HR Operations and Employee Relations experience
  • Proficiency in implementing and managing HR Policies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
