About the Role — Business Development Specialist

We're seeking an energetic
Business Development Specialist to drive new business opportunities and grow our client base.

In this role, you'll be the spark that connects our cutting-edge AI solutions with the businesses that need them most. You'll be at the center of our growth - partnering closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams to create and close deals - and help Zigzag AI grow within India and beyond.

What You'll Do

  • Research and identify potential leads in target markets and new categories.
  • Build and maintain an opportunity-rich lead pipeline.
  • Conduct outbound outreach via cold calls, email, and social channels.
  • Engage and nurture relationships with C-level executives, directors, and key decision-makers.
  • Deliver compelling product demos and convert prospects into customers.
  • Track and report key metrics such as conversion rates, lead quality, and outreach success.

What We're Looking For the Must Have's below:

  • 1–2 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Enjoy reaching out to business owners and partners through cold calls
  • Proven track record of securing meetings and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong ability to create and manage targeted lead lists.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication in English and Hindi (Both languages mandatory)
  • Proficiency with CRM and prospecting tools.
  • Bonus: (SaaS preferred).
