Role Description

The Head of Technology will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, implementation, and maintenance of all technological systems and infrastructure within the organization. This full-time, on-site role is based in Chennai and includes leading IT operations, managing technology teams, and driving innovation to support business goals. Daily responsibilities will involve developing and executing IT strategies, ensuring robust IT infrastructure, monitoring performance, and implementing advancements in technology solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives will also be key.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Information Technology and IT Management
  • Proven experience in IT Operations, including system management and process optimization
  • Ability to develop and execute IT Strategy aligned with organizational goals
  • Proficiency in overseeing Infrastructure planning, implementation, and maintenance
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience in the education or outreach sector is a plus
