Role Overview
We are looking for a
highly experienced and results-driven professional
with a proven track record of winning projects through freelance marketplaces. You will be directly responsible for generating new business through expert-level bidding strategies and persuasive client communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and bid on relevant projects daily via Upwork and similar platforms
- Write customized, high-converting proposals tailored to each client's needs
- Manage and nurture leads until hand-off to the delivery team
- Track bidding performance, success rates, and pipeline metrics
- Stay up to date on freelance marketplace trends and algorithms
Requirements
2+ years proven experience
as an Upwork Bidder or Business Development Executive for freelance platforms
Strong proposal writing skills with excellent English grammar and tone
Deep understanding of Upwork bidding strategies, client behavior, and platform rules
Familiarity with the bookkeeping, accounting, or SaaS industries (preferred)
Ability to work independently, meet targets, and deliver measurable results
Availability to work across multiple time zones (preferred but not required)
