ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Business Development Associate cum Fashion Designer who is equal parts creative visionary and entrepreneurial operator. This is not just a design role – it is an opportunity to co-create and grow a brand from the ground up. This is a role that blends
business development, partnerships, and market expansion
with a
keen appreciation for design, trends, and consumer behavior
. The ideal candidate is
business-led
— strategic, analytical, and growth-driven — yet brings sensitivity to fashion design, product storytelling, and brand aesthetics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Fashion Design & Catalog Development

·       Design and curate collections aligned with brand identity.

·       Create and manage the online product catalog with high-quality visuals.

·       
Vendor & Supply Chain Management

·       Source, negotiate, and manage vendors and production partners.

·       Ensure quality control and timely delivery of collections.

·       
Launch Event & Marketing Oversight

·       Oversee brand launch events and activations.

·       Collaborate on creative event concepts and execution.

·       
Social Media & Digital Strategy

·       Lead content direction and storytelling across social platforms.

·       Build engagement strategies to grow the brand community.

·       
Business Development & Buyer Relations

·       Promote collections to buyers, retailers, and distribution partners.

·       Represent the brand at trade shows, networking events, and exhibitions.

·       
Go-to-Market & Sales Execution

·       Manage online/offline sales channels, e-commerce marketplaces, and retail partners.

·       Optimize pricing, margins, and inventory strategies for profitability.

·       Build and manage business dashboards, performance reports, and growth KPIs.

·       
Marketing & Community Growth

·       Support campaigns with brand, marketing, and social media teams.

·       Co-create storytelling strategies for product launches and events.

·       Represent the brand in exhibitions, trade fairs, and fashion events.

What We're Looking For

·       Strong background in
fashion communication, management and design
with a keen eye for trends.

·       Experience in
vendor/supplier management
and production execution and QC.

·       Understanding of
social media, branding, and digital promotion.

·       Market research and trend analysis capability

·       Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to handle multiple functions.

·       Great communication skills and network within fashion/retail industry.

·       Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable in fast-paced environments

Experience
:

· years in business development, brand partnerships, or merchandising in fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands.

·       Exposure to working with buyers, e-commerce platforms, or fashion retail strongly preferred.

·       Appreciation for fashion design and product aesthetics — experience in design collaboration a plus.
