The role will furtherhelp CEEW's Clean Air team raise the bar. The role primarily involves analysingsustainability reports of Indian companies to track their progress in improvingtheir air emissions.  Thecandidate is expected to have good data analysis and presentation skills.In addition to theduties and responsibilities below, the individual should be prepared, as andwhen necessary, to take on additional responsibilities.Job duties and accountabilitiesPrimary ResponsibilitiesResearch●       Independentlymanage allocated workstreams on quantitative and quantitative applied researchon air quality issues in India.●       Identifyingkey research question(s), designing the research approach/framework, collectionof data and data analyses using appropriate qualitative and/or quantitative,and presenting the analyses in a coherent narrative in different formats suchas journal publications, reports, op -ed articles, and consultation meetings.●       Regularlytrack policy measures taken by the government and their implementation statusthat concern air quality in India and globally.●       Generatehigh -quality research reports, policy briefs and publications in leadingpeer -reviewed journals. Generate other knowledge products such as blogs, policybriefs, etc., at regular intervals. Programme assistance●       Supportthe senior researchers in conceptualising new projects, developing high -impactresearch proposals, stakeholder engagement events and applications for researchand general donor funding.●       Supporteffective outreach of research outputs through coordination with the outreachteam, engagement with a broader network of stakeholders, and concernedpolicymakers.●       Participatein relevant conferences, workshops, and training programmes for a comprehensiveunderstanding of developments relevant to the air quality sector. Selection CriteriaQualificationBachelors/Masters degree in PublicPolicy, Sustainable Finance, Environmental Engineering, and related fields.Workexperience●       0 -1 years of experience. Key skills ●       Abilityto work with either Excel or code in a programming language.●       Ability to present the work in a lucid manner.●       Creative thinker with demonstrated success inimplementing out -of -the -box content ideas.●       Demonstrated abilities to manage multiplepriorities, projects and internal/external resources in a fast -pacedenvironment, while meeting deadlines and quality standards.●       Strong drive and initiative, a self -starter. Desirableskills ●       Prior experience inanalysing the environmental performance of companies.●       An understanding ofenvironmental disclosure frameworks. "Ifyou are passionate about cleaning India's air and If you can turn air qualitydata into actionable insights, then we would definitely consider hiring you Ifyou can collaborate closely with others to make this happen, you are probablythe candidate we are looking for." CEEW operates in a dynamicenvironment and the candidate will be required to show flexibility inundertaking a variety of tasks. CompensationCompetitive compensation –commensurate to the experience and matching the best standards adopted by theindustry or other similar organisations for similar roles. Application ProcessCEEW is an equal -opportunityemployer and the selection process does not discriminate on the basis of age,gender, caste, ethnicity, religion, or sexuality.
