The chosen candidate will supportthe Clean Air team in carrying out quantitative and qualitative research, including a literature review,maintaining data repository, and data analysis, and would support the advancement of the researchand policy engagement for air quality. In addition to the specific duties outlined, the candidate mustbe flexible and adaptable to respond to unexpected events and developments as they arise. If you have the necessary qualifications and aligned passion for environmental research, weencourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to work with CEEW's Clean Air team.  Job duties and accountabilitiesResearch ● To analyse air quality data from different sources such as Continuous Ambient Air QualityMonitoring Stations, meteorological datasets, satellite observations, etc. ● To keep track of the air quality situation in Delhi during the winter of ● To provide research content for the organisation's web pages, blogs, issue briefs, etc ● To participate in relevant conferences, workshops, and training programmes for a comprehensiveunderstanding of air quality management in India and globallyProgramme assistance ● Assist with project implementation, including help with preparing presentations, factsheets andother communication material ● To assist the team in working on multi -disciplinary projects, research writing and projectdevelopment ● Support efforts to use new media platforms for wide dissemination of CEEW's work and, in turn,closer engagement with the wider community ● Support effective communication of research outputs, through close coordination with outreach ● Participate in weekly team meetings and assist with preparing minutes ● Support senior team members in important meetings and sessions, minutes of the meetings, andassist with follow -ups, as required Selection CriteriaQualification ● Bachelor's/ Master's degree in science, engineering and allied fields. Work experience ● Desirable months of experience in data science/programming. Key skills ● Must be able to code, preferably in Python. ● Desirable - Experience with tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine, etc. ● Must have strong written and communication skills for effective, efficient, and adaptiveverbal and written communication, and active listening ● Must have strong research skills – the capability to carry out systematic literature review, andfamiliarity with research methods is a bonus CEEW operates in a dynamic environment and the candidate will be required to show flexibility inundertaking various tasks.
