Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced
Salesforce CPQ Presales Lead / BA Lead
to drive presales engagements, solution discovery, and functional leadership for Salesforce CPQ implementations. The role requires close collaboration with sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to design scalable CPQ solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Presales & Solutioning
- Lead
presales activities
including requirement discovery, solution design, demos, POCs, and estimations - Act as
functional CPQ expert
during client discussions and RFP/RFI responses - Create solution walkthroughs, presentations, and proposal inputs
- Support pricing, scoping, effort estimation, and risk analysis
Business Analysis & Functional Leadership
- Lead
business requirement workshops
with stakeholders - Translate business needs into
CPQ functional specifications - Define end-to-end CPQ flows: Product Configuration, Pricing, Discounting, Approval Processes, Quote Generation
- Ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices and client business processes
CPQ Functional Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with
Salesforce CPQ
: - Product & Price Rules
- Configuration Attributes
- Discount Schedules
- Quote Templates
- Advanced Approvals
- Experience integrating CPQ with
Sales Cloud, ERP (SAP/Oracle), Billing, OMS - Understanding of
B2B sales processes
, complex pricing, and contract lifecycle
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Mentor and guide
BA and CPQ functional teams - Act as the primary functional point of contact for clients
- Collaborate with architects and developers for solution feasibility
- Support UAT, go-live readiness, and post-implementation support
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 12+ years of overall experience with
years in Salesforce CPQ - Strong
Presales experience
(client presentations, demos, proposals) - Excellent
business analysis and stakeholder management
skills - Deep understanding of
sales operations and revenue processes - Salesforce CPQ certification preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
