Role Title: QA (Automation & Manual)

Location: Trivandrum / Mohali

Experience: 7-14 Years

Educational Qualification: Bachelor / Master's degree in CS/ME/IT

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of comprehensive testing strategies for complex web and mobile applications.
  • Architect and implement advanced automated test frameworks and solutions using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Testim.
  • Drive Shift-Left testing practices and mentor team members to integrate QA early in the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct in-depth performance, scalability, and security testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, and similar.
  • Own and maintain quality metrics, ensuring that all deliverables meet established standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide technical leadership and training to junior and mid-level QA engineers.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually refine and enhance QA processes.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Testim).
  • Expertise in Shift-Left testing and CI/CD integration within Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong skills in performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Java for automation purposes.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead QA initiatives, mentor team members, and manage stakeholder expectations.
