Automation Test Engineer Role

At a leading software development company, we are seeking an accomplished Senior Selenium Automation Professional to design and implement automated testing solutions for our software products.

About This Position
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field is required.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) as a Selenium Automation Engineer or similar role with expertise in Java, Python programming languages, and test automation frameworks like TestNG and JUnit.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, web technologies HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in testing APIs using Postman and experience with performance and load testing.
  • Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB and Selenium WebDriver.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Lead a team of software and user interface testers.
  • Analyze and research Development Epics and User Stories for test scenarios and test procedure updates.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in test automation and incorporate them into our testing processes.
