Quality Assurance Tester Job Description

About the Role:

  • This Quality Assurance Tester position is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality software applications.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, including test planning, test case development, and execution.
  • We are looking for a skilled tester with experience in automation frameworks such as PyTest and proficiency in Python.
  • A solid understanding of Agile methodologies and continuous integration practices is required.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML technologies is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for this role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Bonus points for experience with test automation tools for web/mobile platforms, such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
  • Familiarity with healthcare, pharmacy, or clinical software domain knowledge along with awareness in Regulatory and Compliance industry is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Provide input on testing strategies and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and procedures.
