Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Lead

Job Description:

The Senior Quality Assurance Lead will oversee quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role will lead the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for manual testing.

A key responsibility of this position is mentoring peers and providing guidance on quality assurance best practices. The Senior Quality Assurance Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize defects and implement defect management processes.

Key skills required for this role include thorough understanding of testing techniques, methodologies, and industry-wide quality and test processes. Experience in defining test data profiling approaches and test data management approaches is also necessary.

Additionally, this role requires a strong functional understanding of investment banking, capital markets, and database testing. Hands-on experience with HP ALM, JIRA, and SQL is preferred.

Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of the team.
  • Good team player with the right attitude.
Essential Skills:
  • Financial domain, capital markets, and risk.
  • Heavy front office trading (listed, derivatives, fixed income products).
  • Heavy desktop (MS Windows) and web applications.
  • Testing in an agile delivery model.
