Software Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automated test suites for our web and mobile applications.

Your primary focus will be on creating and implementing automated tests using Cypress for end-to-end UI testing, as well as developing and extending test frameworks in C# and TypeScript for API, integration and unit testing.

You will work closely with QA, development and DevOps teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software at speed. Your ability to analyze test results, triage failures and collaborate with developers to resolve defects will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
  • Create and implement automated tests using Cypress for end-to-end UI testing.
  • Develop and extend test frameworks in C# and TypeScript for API, integration and unit testing.
  • Analyze test results, triage failures and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers on automation tools and techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation for web applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • Proficiency in C# and/or TypeScript, with solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.
  • Experience building and maintaining test frameworks (e.g. NUnit, xUnit, Jest).
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps: pipelines, repos, artifacts and test plans.
  • Working knowledge of AWS: provisioning, IAM and basic troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable with Git and modern development workflows (feature branches, pull requests, code reviews).
