Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust automated test suites using modern frameworks like Playwright, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business requirements.
  • Develop reusable test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing, streamlining processes and enhancing quality.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient deployments.
  • Identify and document defects using tools like JIRA, collaborating with engineering teams to drive resolution.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing efforts, ensuring thoroughness and effectiveness.
  • Conduct performance testing, regression testing, and cross-browser testing to validate application quality across platforms, delivering high-quality results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of total experience in software testing, with 3+ years specifically in test automation.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, including experience writing test scripts for browser automation.
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and experience using tools like Postman or Swagger for API testing.
  • Experience with version control systems and collaborative workflows, ensuring seamless teamwork.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins, enabling efficient deployment.
  • Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and comfort working in fast-paced iterative environments, adapting to changing needs.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
