Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of Chinese dishes (starters, soups, noodles, rice, gravies, dim sums, etc.).
  • Maintain quality, taste, portioning, and presentation standards.
  • Develop and improve menu items with cost efficiency in mind.
  • Ensure kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness at all times.
  • Manage kitchen staff, inventory, and daily operations smoothly.
  • Adapt to customer preferences while maintaining authenticity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (minimum 1-3 years) as a Chinese Chef in restaurants/hotels.
  • Expertise in wok cooking, sauces, gravies, and Indo-Chinese style dishes.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen management.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity, passion for cooking, and attention to detail.
