Job Title: Desktop Support & Network Engineer

Experience: Minimum 2 years

Location: Sangamwadi (Pune)

Job Overview:

We are urgently seeking a Desktop Support & Network Engineer with a strong understanding and hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, systems, and networks. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining hardware, software, and networking systems while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:

  2. Manage IT systems and infrastructure efficiently.

  3. Troubleshoot day-to-day user issues and resolve them promptly.

  4. Hardware Management:

  5. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals.

  6. Diagnose and resolve hardware malfunctions.

  7. Printing Support:

  8. Troubleshoot and maintain printers, scanners, and related devices.

  9. Server Room Equipment:

  10. Monitor and maintain server room equipment (servers, switches, routers, firewalls).

  11. Operating Systems:

  12. Install, upgrade, and manage Windows/Linux operating systems.

  13. Troubleshoot OS-related issues effectively.

  14. Software Management:

  15. Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications.

  16. Ensure compliance with software licensing policies.

  17. Security Management:

  18. Implement and monitor antivirus, firewalls, and other security protocols.

  19. Assist in safeguarding systems from threats and vulnerabilities.

  20. Network Management:

  21. Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain LAN/WAN, switches, and routers.

  22. Manage network performance and connectivity issues.

  23. Communication Systems:

  24. Troubleshoot and maintain VoIP, communication tools, and email systems.

  25. Backup and Restore:

  26. Perform regular data backup, restore operations, and ensure data integrity.

  27. Cloud Management:

  28. Support cloud-based applications and platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and IT systems.
  • Hands-on experience with server room equipment, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking tools.
  • Ability to resolve technical issues related to desktops, printers, and software applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, backup, and restore processes.
  • Good understanding of IT security protocols.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, MCP, CompTIA A+, or equivalent will be an added advantage. (Additional)
