Welcoming guests, answering and directing phone calls, managing administrative tasks like scheduling and filing, and handling mail and correspondence. The role is often the first point of contact for clients and visitors, responsible for creating a positive first impression while ensuring the reception area is organized and professional. Key responsibilities

  • Customer service: Greet and welcome visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries.
  • Administrative support: Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and perform data entry, filing, and photocopying.
  • Communication and correspondence: Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages, and prepare outgoing items.
  • Office organization: Maintain a clean and organized reception area and monitor and order office supplies.
  • Security: Monitor visitor access and ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Support other departments: Assist other staff with various clerical tasks as needed.
