Role Overview:

We are looking for a senior business development professional with a strong track record in

alliances, partnership acquisition, and enterprise sales within the insurance, fintech, or

financial services ecosystem.

The incumbent will lead B2B partnership development across key verticals such as:

  • Tie-ups for CoverSures digital platform services with wealth-techs, fintechs, and

aggregators

  • Credit Life Insurance with NBFCs, Fintechs and Lending Platforms
  • Group Health Insurance with Corporates and Employers

This role requires a strategic networker with the ability to engage CXO-level stakeholders,

negotiate partnership models, and close high-value alliances that drive CoverSure's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Alliances & Partnerships

  2. Identify, target, and onboard B2B partners including Banks, NBFCs, fintechs, wealth-

techs, corporates, HR platforms, and affinity groups.

  • Build strategic alliances for:
  • CoverSure Platform services for fintech and wealth-tech ecosystems.
  • Credit Life Insurance programs for lending partners.
  • Group Health & Wellness programs for corporate clients.
  • Develop tailored partnership models (API, embedded, or co-branded) based on partner

requirements and business potential.

  1. Business Growth & Relationship Management

  2. Own the complete business development cycle — from lead generation and proposal

creation to commercial negotiation and contract closure.

  • Build long-term, high-trust relationships with CXOs, Heads of Product, and Business

Strategy teams across partner organizations.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders — Product, Tech, Operations, and Compliance

— to ensure smooth partner onboarding and ongoing engagement.

  1. Strategic Planning & Market Development

  2. Create a structured go-to-market plan for CoverSure's B2B offerings.

  3. Identify emerging partnership opportunities in the insurance, digital lending, and

financial services ecosystem.

  • Represent CoverSure at key industry forums, conferences, and networking events to

strengthen brand visibility.

  1. Partnership Structuring & Commercial Ownership

  2. Drive joint business planning and co-creation of insurance-led propositions with

partners.

  • Structure commercial models and ensure business viability and scalability.
  • Track and report partnership performance metrics, renewal potential, and revenue

contribution.

Key Requirements

Experience & Background

  • 10–15 years of experience in B2B business development, alliances, or partnership

acquisition roles within insurance, fintech, financial services, or SaaS ecosystems.

  • Understanding of insurance products and digital platform integrations.
  • Proven record of closing high-value partnerships with CXO-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in building alliances with banks, NBFCs, fintechs, and large corporates is

essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to InsurTech / FinTech / B2B SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with embedded insurance, API-driven integrations, and platform

partnerships.
