Description

A reactive sales executive focuses on responding to incoming leads and client inquiries, rather than initiating new business. Responsibilities include handling inbound sales calls and emails, managing the sales pipeline from lead to close, preparing proposals based on client needs, negotiating deals, and providing after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction. This role requires a strong focus on relationship management and providing timely, effective service to incoming clients. 

Key responsibilities
  • Handle inbound inquiries: Respond to sales inquiries via phone, email, and other channels, and manage the sales pipeline for these leads.
  • Understand client needs: Meet with clients (virtually or in person) to understand their requirements and identify how the company's products or services can meet those needs.
  • Demonstrate products: Present and demonstrate products or services to potential customers, explaining their benefits.
  • Negotiate and close deals: Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals that align with both the customer's needs and the company's goals.
  • Prepare proposals: Create and send accurate proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
  • Provide support: Offer after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and manage follow-up processes to keep leads engaged.
  • Maintain records: Keep accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress in a CRM system.
  • Collaborate with teams: Work with marketing and other internal teams to align with sales strategies and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve targets: Work towards meeting or exceeding set sales targets and goals
