Business Development Executive(B2B Sales)

Overview of the Role:
We are looking for a driven and dynamic B2B Business Development executive with experience in the education sector to join our team. You will be responsible for selling our products and solutions to educational institutions, including colleges, universities, and training centers. This is a consultative sales role that requires a deep understanding of the education ecosystem and a passion for making a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and engage with educational institutions to understand their needs and propose tailored EdTech solutions.
- Generate and manage a pipeline of leads from colleges, and educational bodies through outreach, networking, and industry events.
- Conduct product demos and presentations for decision-makers (administrators, deans, IT heads & other stakeholders).
- Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and follow-ups using Sheets.
- Collaborate with product and other teams to ensure customer onboarding and retention.
- Stay updated on industry trends, curriculum changes, and competitor offerings to provide insights to prospects and internal teams.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling to educational institutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Knowledge of the EdTech landscape and how technology integrates with colleges/universities systems.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience selling LMS platforms , Training courses etc.
- Familiarity with public and private education procurement processes.
