Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries, general ledger scrutiny, and necessary accruals and provisions.
  • Ensure all accounting and financial reporting adhere strictly to Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Prepare and maintain a detailed reconciliation of all major balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving outstanding items promptly.
  • Assist the Controller in the preparation of statutory financial statements and consolidated accounts.
  • Support the external audit process by preparing comprehensive schedules, providing necessary documentation, and addressing auditor queries related to financial data and disclosures.
  • Coordinate with the internal control team to maintain accurate documentation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all accounting activities.
  • Ensure timely compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations (GST, TDS) and other statutory filings.
