HDFC ERGO is seeking a passionate and driven Agency Manager to join our Chennai team. The role involves building and managing a high-performing team of insurance advisors to drive health and general insurance business. As a key part of our growth strategy, the Agency Manager will focus on expanding our market presence, delivering customer excellence, and ensuring consistent business performance.

Key Responsibilities:


• Recruit, train, and manage a team of insurance advisors


• Drive advisor performance to achieve monthly and quarterly business targets


• Guide advisors on effective sales techniques, customer engagement, and product knowledge


• Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews


• Ensure compliance with HDFC ERGO's operational and regulatory standards


• Build strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of service and retention


• Work closely with branch leadership and support teams to execute regional business plans

Qualifications & Skills:


• Graduate degree(Any)


• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in insurance sales, preferably in agency or retail channels(Freshers also Welcome)


• Strong leadership and team-building skills


• Excellent communication, sales, and interpersonal abilities


• High levels of self-motivation and result orientation


• Familiarity with Chennai's local market and customer base is a plus
