Job Summary: We are seeking a Fresher, experienced and dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth and build strategic relationships for our B2B scrap and recyclables portal, This role is pivotal to expanding our network, acquiring new members, and securing membership renewals from our existing clients. Our ideal candidate has a strong track record in B2B sales, particularly in membership-based models, and preferably speaks Hindi to enhance communication with our diverse clientele. This is a high-impact position, essential to scaling our platform and solidifying our position as a premier marketplace in the scrap industry.

Key Responsibilities:

New Member Acquisition: Identify and engage potential members from the scrap and recyclables industry, introducing them to the benefits of our membership-based portal. Develop tailored pitches to demonstrate value and close deals with new members.

Membership Renewal and Retention: Manage relationships with existing members to ensure high retention and renewal rates. Regularly check in with members to understand their evolving needs and provide relevant solutions.

Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends, emerging markets, and competitor activities. Leverage insights to shape and optimise our membership offerings, ensuring they remain competitive and valuable to members.

Sales Strategy Development: Work closely with management to develop and implement strategies that support membership sales growth, and report on KPIs, such as lead generation, conversion rates, and retention metrics.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably within a subscription-based or membership-driven model.

  • A strong understanding of the scrap or recyclables industry is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in both English and Hindi, are highly desirable.

  • Ability to analyse and leverage market trends to drive strategic growth.
